Yeah, it's pretty neat to be able to be so close even though they're captive.

Beautiful dog you have. Looks like a great time skijoring!

I'd love to see the eagle photo posted!
Sometimes I scan quickly through images to find a few to post and then forget all about whatever else I had in the file until I can actually sit down and look at them a little larger!

    Thanks for looking and sharing.

Mike, my HDR photos are not quite fantastic, but your latest sunrise ones sure are. Thanks for the ego lifting comments.

    Hey Mike,
I don't know how I missed your Prince of Whales Island post.
Nice photos. I like photos with weather in them. Really love the waterfall. I just read about the island and how much there is to do there. Hope to make it there sometime.

It really is a lot of fun. Sometimes I feel guilty that they pay me.
    Thanks Mike.

As usual, some real great shots. You really have the exposure time down for rapids/water falls, love them.

Good to hear Mike. I hope they have fond memories of their childhood.

Nice Ketchikan images, looks like summer! For some reason I just love the image of the empty campsite. Makes me want to be there!

    Where to next?

    Sometimes you get lucky!

Hey, did you ever get a pass for the Denali road lottery? I kept checking Craig's list and I only found high prices and many people wanting to buy.

    Thank you Mike.
I can't tell you how great it is to have healthy, good looking people willing, and able, to repeat things as often as you want!

Thanks Mike. I haven't written the text yet but it was a wonderful experience. I spotted him as I was driving by so I doubled back, parked out of site, and slowly approached the pond. He noticed me of course but I just squatted and slowly got closer and he went about his business. The smoke in the air made for such great lighting.
