About Me:
I have lived in alaska for 27 yrs, and have no intentions of ever moving from here. I have seen so many incredable places, and have been lucky to see alot of places up here msny people can only dream of seeing. I have been a fishing guide,tour guide,bear viewing guide,basically in the visitor industry here for years.I have lived from kodiak to petersburg,anchorage,seward,juneau,but been to many other places up here,I don,t think i will ever take these places for granted.
Music:
Classic 70,s rock.Boston,eagles,steely dan,foreigner.Also southern rock,almoned brothers,rush,heart etc...
Movies:
anything that makes me laugh,westerns.history documenteries.
TV:
discovery channel specials,old comedy shows,cheers,sanford&son,taxi,barney miller,sports,favorite is hockey,then coolege football,pro football.
Books:
non-fiction history books,old journals from the cival war years,reading from the gold rush era.
Likes:
most non-fiction alaskan books,mainly the early year books about our bush pilots the fishing industry,and all the interesting caracters we have had up here.
Dislikes:
authors who try to write about alaska,after being here a short time and try to do this state justice. It never happens.give me a Jens beck,mike doogan book anytime,these are fellow alaskans who get it right.
Hobbies:
fishing,walking my high maintenence siberian husky,(former sled dog.) snowmachining,going on long drives up here.hockey.
Virtues:
I live everyday as best as i can,try to keep positive and realize this is a very unforgiving place up here,so i do not take for granted, I have seen to many mistakes up here that cost people their lives,while being out and about up here.
