About Me: I have been a training and development professional for about 15 years. I have trained countless numbers of professionals on any number of topics. But the one thing that does not change is the satisfaction that I feel when someone "gets it". I call it the light bulb affect. I can truly see the connection literally light up in their eyes. Quite frankly, I can't get enough of it.
When I was attending college at Virginia Tech, my brother offered to sell me his Olympus OM-1 camera. He taught me a lot about photography and because of him, I began to love photography. About 10 years ago, for reasons unknown, I just stopped using my OM-1, which was now showing it's age. It wasn't until this past year that I decided to pick up photography again. However, I decided that the OM-1 with the rubber band holding the back on, should probably be retired. So, I invested in a Nikon and moved into the digital age. It felt great to be shooting again.
Then I spent 20 unforgettable days in Alaska. With incredible guidance from Wayde, Scott and the rest of the crew, I expanded both my knowledge and my passion for photography. Now, I look for any opportunity to take my camera out and shoot something!
