Curve-hugging dresses

Short,Herve Leger, tight dresses often scare women, but they shouldnt. This season, fashion designers ran with the bandage dress craze started by Herve Leger to offer options that snuggle the female silhouette in all the right places. "The No. 1 thing that a woman wants when she walks in the store is a dress that flatters her figure," says Alysa Rene, owner of Alysa Rene Boutique in Leawood. Be conscientious when wearing a body-conscious dress, Rene suggests. Try one size larger if the fit is too tight. She also says that skinny jeans,Herve Leger, tights or leggings can be worn under a short dress to increase your comfort level and keep you warm on cool spring days.

    Drew Barrymore's flowy dress knocks

    Tuesday, May 15, 2012, 3:53 AM [General]

Drew Barrymore knocked a fan off her feet at the New York City Ballets Spring Gala on Thursday and she didnt even know it. The reportedly pregnant actress wore a flowing, loose-fitting Chanel dress and a black thigh-length coat that concealed her shape and also proved to be effective at preventing one persistent fan from following her around the room. A source who attended the "Celebrate France"-themed soiree at Lincoln Center Plaza tells us that, as Barrymore stood talking with her fiancé Will Koppelman, a brown-haired woman in a black dress, approached the actress from behind. When the "Grey Gardens" star, who was unaware of the womans presence, headed for the theater, her long billowy dress snagged on the fans heel and upended her. Our source says Barrymore seemed oblivious to the face-plant and only glanced back at the resulting commotion after the fallen woman had picked herself up off the floor. Will Ferrell picked the wrong character to reprise on "Saturday Night Live." Ferrell who returned to host the NBC show that made him a comedy star had us scratching our heads over his and, we guess, the writers decision to revisit behind-the-curve musical couple,Herve Leger, The Culps with Ana Gasteyer. We would have much rather seen Ferrell as Alex Trebek in a round of "Celebrity Jeopardy" that would have featured Darrell Hammond as Sean Connery, Nasim Pedrad as Kim Kardashian and Jay Pharoah as Jay-Z. We also could have used the return of Ferrell and Rachel Dratch as the hot tub "Lov-ahs." Hey, Lorne Michaels, next time Ferrell hosts, please give us a jingle. Chester Hanks has a 10-point plan to stop Twitter remorse. The rapper son of Tom Hanks, who performs as Chet Haze, was at Niles restaurant at the Affinia Manhattan hotel in midtown on Friday night, and a source there heard him tell event producer Nima Yamini that he regretted the controversial tweet he posted on Wednesday: "Ayo I dont condone bullying but anyone who off themselves cuz they got picked on is weak." Hanks, 21, who came to the city to surprise his mom Rita Wilson for Mothers Day, added: "From now on, Imma count to ten before I hit send." Simple, yet effective. Tina Fey says the kids of "30 Rock" staffers should blame Alec Baldwin when their parents get home late. At the New York Women in Film & Televisions Designing Women Awards at Macys on Thursday, Fey presented an award to "30 Rock" makeup artists Jenn Jorge Nelson and Julie Teel, and during her speech,Herve Leger, explained that she and Nelson are both working mothers. She also said that the next time their children are ticked off that their moms are working late, they should "call Alec Baldwin" because he "took too long getting ready." Better yet, Fey said, the kids should just "tweet him because I think he might be on Twitter." Rana June remember the name. The boundaries-busting musical artist and producer is slated to play Time Inc.s "10 NYC Startups to Watch" at PH-D at the Dream Downtown in the Meatpacking District on Wednesday. June, 25, who calls herself a "tech gypsy," will perform with an instrument of her own design: a "Star Trek"-worthy "rig" consisting of four interconnected iPads that she uses to create a sui generis soundscape by live-producing samples of recorded music and her original compositions. June, who performs in Louboutins and Herve Leger, jazzed up the party that Time and People magazines threw in Washington on the eve of the White House Correspondents Dinner, but the N.Y.C. crowd can expect some surprises.
