Manilaq is a native corparation. There are sevral in Alaska like Sealaska, Shee Atika, Kootznawoo,Huna In Southeast. Doyon, Tanana or Tcc (I think) central Alaska or Norton Sound North coast . Each branch is seprate and has an area to serve. They are native corporations. They are Indian Health Service . I worked for a most in one way or another, mostly drug , alcohol or mental health . Kotzebue is Dry (no alcohol) But bootleging in huge ( selling alcohol in the dry communities). They have a high rate of accidental death and self inflicted death due to alcohol. Most lead a subsistance life style , hunting, fishing, gathering. Amazing culture song ,dance, art and language.They are Inupaiq people next to Yupik area.
