It's Now or Never - Have Taken the Plunge

Right, this is my first ever weBLOG. (Only just found out this week from where the word "blog" comes.) If you're interested to learn a bit about me, I've given a brief profile.

Don't see any groups listed yet to belong to. Perhaps, there should be one for "People Who Want to Move to Alaska." Have visited five times in eight years, and I want to return for a longer period.

Living here in the hot and humid South just wears me out. Recently returned from a two month visit to Australia, as it ends winter and goes into spring. Rejuvenated.

Would enjoy connecting with both Alaskans and folks who are interested in relocating there.

My site name, Lagniappe in Louisiana (pronounced "lan yap") means "something that is added, a bonus" and Alaska was a rich bonus when it was added to the USA, don't ya think.
