    Hi, Tony,

How's the fishing going at this time of the year? I just had to have some wild salmon after reading your post. So, went to Whole Foods here in Baton Rouge, bought a piece, and baked it with lemon slices in the oven. Delicious!

I really look forward to the time when I can live in Alaska and hook one myself.

    Happy fishing.

Hi Tony, Yep! Another Alaska lover here! My Hubby and I have been there 4 times on cruises and loved every minute of it! Every time we go we try to explore the places away from the tourist areas. A couple of our favorite adventures was a 4 hour hike up Sawtooth Mountain rainforest and a trip into the Yukon territory. Getting up close to glaciers from the ship is always such a thrill, especially when you get to witness one of those massive chunks of ice plunging into the water.I never knew what a real mountain was until I saw the ones in Alaska. We live in Ohio and we have small hills compared to Alaska. The wild life is awesome and we fell in love with the pristine beauty of it all. We plan on going back, maybe next year and exploring new territory.

Hope to chat with you soon.

PS How close were you to the bear that I saw in your photos?
