Yes... I worked in the operations side for about 11 years. So, I understand what it takes to carry off one of those events. I must say that I also met some of the most amazing people. I had an awful lot of immigrants working for me and their stories are quite fascinating. It makes you really appreciate what we have here. D-

Good morning, Would you happen to know if anyone is hiring a truck driver [ class B ]WITH haz/mat endorsement in Anchorage?? I plan on moving there shortly and would like to have a job lined up if thats at all poosible. Hi Wayde This was a Meetup shoot to learn a bit about how to deal with models and experiment with different flash systems. Some people whom have this type of equipment set up different stations where you could use their equipment to see how it works and talk to them about fill flash and things like that. The Models came for portfolio images there were 7 of them. There were 30 or so photographers so there were plenty of pic for them to choose from. I found out there is a web site called Model Mahem where you can Negociate a shoot with models. This site is for photographers and models to meet and do work. I had fun and was suprised I did not think Iwould like it but it was Ok. But I did stick with the model I felt had the best personality and was easy to work with. There were plenty of egos from models to photographers that day. Thanks for checking them out. I will be looking at Alaska seriously after I get back from the Canyon in late April. Work is slow and I am a bit worried SO I will see how the job market is B4 I run off again. Michael

Kathy and I discovered the egret as we were about to leave and we ended up following it for quite a while. I got several pictures of tree branches cutting the egret in half! Thanks for sharing your lineage. That's a very cool combination!

Yeah, the first three shots may be offense to some, but it is still a way of life. I have a nephew in Kansas that traps beaver and fox every winter. Really like the lighting on some. Why ISO 800?
